I am running Ubuntu Trusty with openjdk-8-jdk. Unfortunately, the Openfire 3.10.2.Debian package still predepends on Java 7. Are there any issues known, when running Openfire under Java 8? Is it possible to update the declared dependency in the Debian package in order to allow installation of Openfire 3.10.x under Java 8.
